Our Journey & Mission
Rooted in the soil of Liberia — from the suburbs of Paynesville to the most remote rural communities across the country.
Established 25th October 2017
Our Mission
To empower rural women in Liberia—specifically single mothers, widows, persons with disabilities, the visually impaired, survivors of GBV/SGBV, adolescent girls and children—by fostering a spirit of solidarity, providing access to transformative resources, and advocating for sustainable development that respects their dignity and rights. RWSDO is an inclusive organization, ensuring no woman is left behind regardless of ability, location, or circumstance.
Our Vision
A Liberia where every rural woman — whether in Greater Monrovia or the most remote county — is an architect of her own future, living in a community that values her leadership and provides equal opportunities for growth and prosperity.
